The big news in the auto industry this week has been Volvo’s announcement that all Volvo cars from 2019 and on will include an electric motor.

That’s not to say that Volvo is completely tossing out the internal combustion engine. But all new-for-2019 and later model Volvos will at least be hybrids, if not fully electric.
